First chemo - day 5

Feeling stronger every day.. yesterday I only needed 2 naps. Went out to watch Carter's soccer game last night and saw him get his first goal! Tonight he has a track meet at the University, and then tomorrow another soccer game. This is Winnipeg, need to cram all the outdoor sports into 2 months.

I went for physio yesterday for my arm again, its been really sore these past few days, but she said its improving, just that she often sees many people are more sensitive to pain during chemo. Interesting.

Have a good day everyone!
Beth

  1. I love reading your blog because you are so positive. Sorry to hear about your sore arm, I still have pain in my upper arm and breast from the lumpectomy but gradually its getting better.

My main problem is my arm where they inject the chemo, it is so so sore and my veins are bruised. At least with your picc line you wont get this!!

Take care of yourself and don't over do things!!!!!!!!!! xxx

  2. Glad to hear you're feeling stronger ... it's too bad the arm is sore.

We're having cold weather here today.

  3. Beth,

I'm in southern Ontario, and it's raining as all hell here. I completely understand the whole "cram everything in a short period of time"... The weather sure isn't helping things in general.

    Hope you're doing well.

  4. Glad you are feeling stronger Beth. I know all about trying to cram everything into a few months in Winnipeg as I used to live there. Now I live on Vancouver Island and for the most part enjoy the weather. I don't miss those Winnipeg winters at all.
I hope you have nice weather for the long weekend to get out and enjoy some sunshine.
    Jill.
