First chemo - day 2

Yesterday wasn't bad, just had the car sick kind of feeling all day and evening. Brad and I went for a short (slow) walk, the fresh air felt good, even though it's more like November than May right now. I actually felt fine all night, except I didn't sleep much, my head was buzzing or something. I felt nauseous again when I got up this morning. Zach suggested I go back to bed since I don't seem to feel sick when I'm laying down. Good advice. Went back to bed. Am up now for lunch and will go lay down again shortly... Beth.

  1. Yes lay down ... do what works for you.

    Thinking of you ...

  2. I remember that 'buzzing' sensation. Eee. Take it easy today.

  3. Hi Beth;

    Just to let you know that I have been following your blog and am thinking of you and 'daboys' (oh and Brad too :-) ). You certainly have a great attitude,and I hope it all goes smoothly for you. I know you have a great support network and they will help you get thru the good and 'not so great' days! Hang in day at a time!!! Take this time to rest and take care of yourself (and let others pamper you too!!!). Deb (A.K.A. TADF)

  4. Hi Beth,
    I get the buzzing sound too but my nurse said that it was the anti sickness steroids. Remember to tell them everything at your next session because they can adjust the drugs to make you feel better.

    sorry you feel sick. I have been lucky I only get momentory feelings of sickness and have only had to take my anti sickness drugs once. I find that sipping ginger beer really helps though.

    Rest and take it easy.
