Getting there slowly

I got out of the house twice yesterday - once to go to my support group (a friend drove me), and then out for coffee with some friends last night. It was so nice to get out (we are finally getting our very late summer weather). I'm still very tired, very low energy, but that's really my only complaint. I know when I start gaining my energy back, there is no more chemo to knock it down again - this time it will be for real.

I got a call about radiation therapy and have an appointment on Tuesday to get my markings. Guess I will find out more then.

Have a good long weekend everyone!

  3. Getting out, doing the things we sometimes take for granted and really appreciating them.

And moving ahead to rads...the markings aren't difficult at all and you'll feel like you are coming into the home stretch!!!

    Sounds good Beth!

  5. My main problem with chemo is the tiredness which seems to be cumulative. I get all weak and shaky if I do too much and I hate it. I got my radiotherapy markings done yesterday and I start radiotherapy on Monday, right after my last dose of chemo. We will be ok Beth, I know it.

One question, how did you get your caring candle onto your page. I tried for hours last night and I just couldn't.
